Sicker Than Others Saving the Landfills, one Giant Plastic Toy At a Time

we’re here

12.19.2006 · Posted in Day To Day, ailments, pregnancy

We’re here, and sort of sleeping in the new house. The baby, unsure how to proceed with a life lived in the same bedroom as parents, stayed up singing and jumping and generally being a pain in the ass until about 1 a.m.

The cat is wandering around looking for a high place to hide. Nothing works for him, so he’s melancholy, and vocal about it.

I cannot breathe. Again. I caught a cold from M. Fierce viral cold + battered immune system due to mold allergies + stress= I can’t take a full breath through my mouth, and my nose is stopped up. The inhaler isn’t working.

Logisitcs. Do I go to the ER for a breathing treatment at 3 a.m.? If so, then who will be here with the baby while my husband goes to work tomorrow? Who will let the alarm guy in to set up?

Can I handle a solo trip to the hospital at 3 a.m.? No. So I’ll puff the inhaler for the 6th time today and play in the internet when it wires me up past the point of sleep. Maybe I can sleep in Asheville?
