Sicker Than Others Saving the Landfills, one Giant Plastic Toy At a Time

Dancing Queen

I can’t stop myself from saying “Dance, Dance REVOLUTION!” Over and over again in my head. When I close my eyes at night, I see arrows-I fall asleep to techno music in my head. When M and I were having our Tetris war, I saw Tetris pieces All.The.Time. I couldn’t close my eyes without seeing pieces fit together. The same thing is happening to me now with dance steps.

Two nights ago we turned the game off because the X-Box was beginning to spit smoke, and on MTV they were showing a live performance of a Kanye West song. Toddler A listned to the music for a moment, then started stomping her feet and waving her arms. That child has some moves, yo.

So that’s why I haven’t been online to update. I’ve been sucked into the Black Hole of DDR. Well, that and my husband has 16 days off work starting today, which could mean lots of family time and bonding and getting in the holiday spirit, but will probably mean something more along the lines of PLEASE HELP ME I JUST WANT 10 MINUTES ALONE!

This first day has been fun though, especially the part where I could have slept till like 10, but instead woke up at 7:45 when the FUCKING fire truck with the Santa on the back started making the rounds in our neighborhood, BLOWING THE SIREN THE WHOLE TIME. They finally left our earshot at 10 a.m. and after I rocked some DDR, I got to take a sweet, sweet, nap. Ah, weekends.
